====== How do I get rid of the white dotted lines and the IK text in the view? ======

You can disable the hierarchy links and the IK tags by going to:

Tools > Options > Bongo

Under Object Pivots, uncheck the box saying **Display IK tags** and **Display hierarchy links**.
