E’ una chiave USB portatile, facile da usare, inseribile in qualsiasi computer senza necessità di installazione. E’ uno strumento di lavoro che contiene al suo interno tutti gli strumenti per firmare digitalmente i documenti, accedere in sicurezza ai servizi on line delle Pubbliche Amministrazioni, autenticarsi in modo sicuro ai siti di e-Government, avere disponibili e aggiornati sulla chiavetta stessa i documenti della propria impresa depositati in Camera di Commercio.

Tutte le funzioni sono protette da un codice segreto d’accesso per cui, in caso di furto o smarrimento, la chiavetta risulta inutilizzabile.

IBV - Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia

As a technological center, the mission of the Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV) is to promote and undertake scientific research, technological development, technical advice, and training in biomechanics.

Rhino is one of the key products used for research and commercial work at IBV.

IBV created a commercial sole and shoe for the Art Company, where Rhino and MicroScribe were used to digitize an existing last. Then the final last, sole, and upper part were modeled in Rhino and Sensable and finally prototyped with a ZCorp color 3-D printer.

I use Rhino to model chemical research equipment. I build the available space first and then use Rhino to create layouts for ergonomics and concept discussions for small reactors and laboratory test equipment. I then use the 2-D layouts for job instructions/dimensions for bid and construction. It's not high quality graphics/rendering that are so useful to me but rather getting a 3-D concept out in front of stakeholders to discuss and refine the designs, and then to go quickly to 2-D dimensioning and bid packages. Rhino is a great tool for this work, which is usually fast track with a project timeline of a month or two.
