Washington Industry Recognized Certification (IRC) State Approved Industry Recognized Credentials List #139 Rhino Certified Level 1 and 2 Specialist Manufacturing Skilled & Technical Sciences

Rhino Academic (IRC) Testing is available for Rhino.

Here is how to get started with the Rhino IRC testing at your school.

  1. Purchase a Rhino Lab license: You can use it for up to 30 computers in a training lab, or create a Team and invite 30 students for virtual or online training.
  2. Here is how to access the Rhino Training Guides. Provide your own training or tutorials for the students to learn specific features in Rhino that are of a particular interest.
  3. Augment the Level 1 & Level 2 Training guide with your own tutorials and exercises. See our collection of Getting Started tutorials, Rhino 5 to Rhino 8, Windows and Mac.
  4. These “PBL” tutorials (project based learning) will take the student from a blank screen to a completed model in under 2 hours.
  5. Test for their Rhino skills with the IRC testing Level 1 and Level 2 with Rhino Academic testing. Testing is available at a discount to schools. Here is the application to offer the test to your students.

After your school certifies a student what are the next steps?

  • Once the student has earned their certification, all the teacher needs to do is let their CTE Director know so the director can do their reporting to OSPI.
