To make the best of your super-high resolution Retina MacBook Pro, configure Windows as follows:

1. Right-click the Desktop then click Screen Resolution.
2. At the bottom of the Change the appearance of your display page, click Make text and other items larger or smaller.
3. Select Medium - 125%.
4. Click Apply.
5. Close the Make it easier to see what's on your screen dialog.

This makes all the icons in Windows large enough to see and use.
